Start with the night of the week
Karaoke in Minneapolis is a rotating calendar, not a fixed one. Most bars host one or two nights a week, and the host — the KJ — often runs different rooms on different nights. That means the answer to “karaoke tonight” changes every 24 hours.
Before you head out, call the bar directly. Karaoke nights get bumped for sports, private buyouts, and live bands more often than any listing site keeps up with.
What to check before you go
- Start time and last-song cutoff. Many rooms stop taking slips well before close.
- Cover, age policy, and whether the room is 21+.
- How the rotation works. A packed room can mean an hour between turns.
- Whether the host runs a modern digital songbook or a printed binder.
